EXELISIS participated in the PROPLANET General Assembly meeting on March 5–6, 2025, which was hosted by our HOLOSS partners in the picturesque village of Monção, Portugal. Project partners from around Europe convened to discuss progress, exchange updates, and plan the next steps in our joint effort to promote climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture.
In her presentation on behalf of EXELISIS, Dr. Ioanna Katsavou provided the most recent information on the strategy for distribution and exploitation, including the tactics being employed to successfully convey project findings and guarantee their long-term application. As part of the project’s dedication to openness, cooperation, and creativity, Dr. Katsavou also guided the consortium through the designed and approved Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) management process.
The EXELISIS team also released newly created dissemination tools that were intended to raise awareness of the project and improve interaction with stakeholders and the general public. In addition to the official workshops, the first day concluded with a cozy and vibrant dinner party where partners could unwind, establish personal connections, and carry on conversations in a more relaxed atmosphere. Building solid working relationships and encouraging a collaborative spirit throughout the project depend heavily on these shared experience moments. As PROPLANET enters its next phase, we’re excited to keep working together and will be providing more updates shortly!
