EXELISIS was pleased to take part in the latest PROPLANET Project consortium meeting, held in Lillestrøm, Norway, on 21–22 October. The two-day gathering brought together partners from across Europe to review progress, exchange technical insights, and coordinate the final activities leading up to the project’s completion in April.
EXELISIS was represented by Dr. Ioanna Katsavou and Dr. Peny Eleni, who actively contributed to discussions on scientific results, ongoing challenges, and the roadmap for the remaining months. As part of the agenda, Dr. Ioanna Katsavou delivered a detailed presentation on Work Package 7, which focuses on Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation. Her presentation highlighted the strategies, outreach actions, and impact-driven initiatives designed to raise awareness about PROPLANET’s work and ensure that its results reach industry stakeholders, researchers, policymakers, and society at large.
Throughout the meeting, partners collaborated closely on planning forthcoming tasks, including testing activities, validation of PFAS-free coating formulations, and preparations for the project’s final reporting and broader outreach.
In parallel with the meeting, EXELISIS and NILU co-hosted an information booth showcasing the latest PROPLANET results and promoting the upcoming COATINGS 2026 Conference, where sustainable and innovative coating technologies will take center stage. The booth served as an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and engagement with the wider research community.
EXELISIS extends its warm thanks to NILU for organising an inspiring and productive meeting and for their exceptional hospitality throughout the event.
